Bristol: Food and Fun Beyond the Airport

I’m a Bristol resident, and I love my city. It’s a beautiful place to live with lots of things going on, from the famous music scene to great shopping and lots more! However, there are some downsides too – like the fact that Bristol Airport is not very accessible unless you live within walking distance or have access to public transport. There are also no really good cafe/restaurant options around our house which mean we often end up eating takeaway meals instead of making something at home!

Bristol Airport

Bristol Airport is the second largest airport and it is located in South West England. It is a hub for EasyJet, Ryanair and Flybe. The airport was opened in 1938 and was named after Bristol City Council Chairman Sir Charles Badham (1875–1956).

The terminal building consists of two concourses: A and B; together they have six gates: Gates 1-6 are positioned at the east end of Concourse A while Gates 7-12 are placed along Concourse B’s west side.

The main hallways can be used as walkways between terminals during busy periods when there are long queues for check-in desks or immigration control booths at both ends of each concourse; however, if you want something quicker then take your lift up directly instead!

Bristol Hole in the Wall

Bristol Hole in the Wall is a pub, restaurant, bar, and takeaway all rolled into one. The food is great and it’s also one of the best places to hang out if you’re flying into Bristol Airport.

The menu has everything from burgers and fries to homemade soups (the chicken noodle soup really hits the spot).

There are also sandwiches on offer as well as breakfast options such as pancakes or scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage links. If you’re looking for something more substantial than just a sandwich then try their daily specials which feature lots of different options including vegetarian dishes like falafel patties served with tahini dressing; meat-free burgers made from quinoa instead of beef; vegan lasagna made from tofu along with plenty more options that will keep your mouth watering all day long!

The St Paul’s Pub

The St Paul’s Pub is a great place to hang out. It’s got an awesome atmosphere, a great menu and location, and staff who are friendly and helpful.

The pub has been in business since 1851, making it one of the oldest pubs in Bristol! You can sit on their balcony overlooking the city center or inside on the ground floor where there’s plenty of room for everyone.

They serve food all day long so you won’t have trouble finding something delicious to eat here! Their selection includes burgers (the best burgers in town), chicken wings (the best chicken wings around) steak sandwiches…there really isn’t anything they don’t do well when it comes down to food quality here at The St Pauls Pub.”

Bristol Cheese Company

The Bristol Cheese Company is a restaurant that serves cheese and other dairy products. It’s located in the Bristol airport, which is great if you’re traveling to Bristol but doesn’t want to spend a lot of time on your way there.

If you’re looking for something more than just a sandwich or snack, this place has some amazing options! They have an impressive selection of cheeses including artisanal varieties like parmesan and gouda. Plus they have plenty of other types such as cheddar, mozzarella (the famous one), etc., so there’s sure to be something here that appeals to everyone at least somewhat equally well (or not).

Pizza Burger

If you’re looking for a good place to eat in Bristol Airport, Pizza Burger should be your first choice. They have everything from traditional burgers to heartier fare like the Bacon Double-Decker burger, which has melted cheese on top of the bacon. Their signature creation is the hotdog pizza, which sounds odd but tastes delicious when combined with their homemade Italian sauce and fresh toppings like tomatoes and green peppers (or even pineapple!).

To get there: Go through security at Bristol Airport then take one of their taxis back up into town if you want to stay close by so that you can enjoy more food options!

Traveling in Bristol Airport With Bristol Airport Taxis

If you’re traveling in the Bristol Airport, it’s important to know that there are plenty of options for getting around. You can choose from a variety of taxis and limousines, which will help you get where you need to go.

  • Taxis: When searching for a taxi to take your group or family on their trip, there are plenty of companies available at the airport so that everyone can find something they’re comfortable with. Just make sure that before choosing which company is right for them—and what kind of vehicle they will use—they check out all their options carefully because not all drivers are licensed by law.
  • Limos: This type of vehicle has been around since ancient times when kings had them built specifically for royalty! These days though, limos have become popular among tourists who want something other than just regular cabs but still want something luxurious without breaking bank accounts like some might do after spending money on tickets (which could happen).

We hope that this list of the best food and things to do in Bristol Airport has helped inspire you to make the most of your upcoming visit.
